Designed by Robert Hooke in 1680, one of the earliest of England’s great Palladian houses, with a massive portico added by Wyatt in 1780. The elaborately plastered Great Hall by James Gibb in 1750 is one of the finest Baroque interiors. Good French and English furniture and paintings – also the 8th Marquess of Hertford’s great staircase mural by Graham Rust, completed in 1983.

Features: 400-acre landscaped park and 27 acres of gardens including the formal garden which descends in a series of wide, rose-covered terraces; lake and maze.

Ragley Park and Gardens
• Open every Saturday and Sunday until Sunday 26th October 2014.
• Also open Monday to Friday during Warwickshire school holidays (from 19th July 2014) and on Bank Holidays.
• Also open Monday to Friday during Warwickshire school holidays and on Bank Holidays
• Open from 10am to 5pm (last entry 3.30pm)
Ragley Hall
• Open for guided tours every Sunday until 26th October 2014
• Also open Monday to Friday during Warwickshire school holidays (from 19th July 2014) and on Bank Holidays.
• Guided tours every hour from 11am with the last tour starting at 3pm.
